Exodus 5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
Pharaoh says that he doesn’t know God. He doesn’t believe in God. He has no reason to obey God.
So the real story is that Pharaoh has his own god. He refuses to believe in the god of the Israelites. He sees no reason to believe that God is superior to his gods that he already worships.
We are about to watch the clash of gods. Pharaoh’s gods will be destroyed. God will reign supreme. Egypt will on the whole not believe God. They will reject Him and pay the price for doing so.
The real story is do you have a god that you are holding on to and looking to that you consider more important than the God of the Bible.
