This Sunday we, at Vision Baptist Church, were able to see 195 people in Sunday School, and 265 in the main service. God is continuing to bless our efforts to reach the community surrounding us. The service went very well, Steve Morgan was able to fill in for Steven Cofield in leading the singing. It is always encouraging to see the members of Vision Baptist Church step up to fill a need. Pastor Gardner preached a phenomenal message from Matthew chapter 24 on being careful of false teachers and encouraging us to read and study our Bibles. The announcements concluded our morning service in which Trent introduced our new prayer line. So if you have prayer requests just call the prayer line and let us know. The evening service was yet another testament to the uniqueness of Vision Baptist Church. We were able to honor the graduates of foundations (our discipleship program) with a ceremony and rewards during the service. John Pearson preached for the foundations ceremony on the importance of foundations. Pastor Gardner then preached on discipleship, what it is and how we can see it in the Bible. It is a pleasure to be in a church that is committed to teaching the gospel to the world, and teaching its members to teach others.
