The final service of our missions conference “The Regions Beyond” was this Sunday morning. There were 259 people in attendance, and after a weekend of hearing about the need for the gospel around the world, Bro. Dean Hamby preached a great message out of the gospel of Luke about the value of just one life. There were also many other special events this morning. We honored those in our church who are parents of missionaries by showing a short video of their son/daughter, and giving them a small gift representing their dedication to “holding the rope” for missionaries overseas. The kids involved in children’s church sang “Tell the World”, and we were able to hear missionary presentations from Daniel Sparks (Chile), Sam Quinn (India), and Sam Wilson (Jews) this morning. Other countries represented in the conference were China, Indonesia, and Bolivia. In the evening service, some of the young men training to be future missionaries in the Our Generation Training Center gave a five- minute message, followed by a message by Robert Canfield on how God desires the whole world to praise Him for His merciful kindness. We are excited to see what God is going to do through Vision Baptist Church this year, as we continue to give to missions in the regions beyond .
