Titus 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: 11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
In Paul’s day, at least, there were preachers that needed to be stopped. They were religious people, of the circumcision. They were in the business of destroying people’s faith in God. They were in the religious business to make money.
There are today many religious leaders that are only doing what they do for the money that is involved. They are trying to get people’s money. They are trying to use God for their purposes.
God’s men should be ready to put a stop to that. If that gets into the church the pastor should take whatever steps necessary to stop this wrong attitude, this wicked teaching.
Teach the truth and accept nothing less!
