How Are You At Helping A Friend In Trouble? – Daily Devotional – May 13th, 2015

Job 16:2 I have heard many such things: Miserable comforters are ye all.

The Holy Bible: King James Version, Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. (Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009), Job 16:2.

Job is suffering horribly. His friends have come. All that they can do is tell him what he has done wrong to deserve the mess that he is in. They argue with him. They tell him of his failures. He tries to defend himself and they criticize and complain about his pride, etc?

When your friends are hurting have you learned to help them? Have you been through enough that you understand what it means to hurt? Have you gotten help from God in your own problems so that you can share the help you got with them?

Are you using your hurts and help to help others? Don’t waste what God has been teaching you!
