Ezra 7:27 Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem:
Ezra had a desire to take care of the house of God. The people recognized that it was God that had placed it in his heart. God puts things in our hearts. God gives us desires to serve Him. That has not ceased. God works in our hearts.
We want to learn to recognize God’s move on our hearts. When we have desires to give, to go, to sacrifice for Him we can be sure that it is not a normal human desire but God working in us. Be sensitive to God working in your life.
