Fear Motivates Us To Pray – Daily Devotional – May 3rd, 2015

II Chronicles 20:3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

When the enemy was approaching and the nation was in danger the leader got scared enough to want to talk to God in prayer and fasting. He seriously needed God to work in his life.

I fear that we tend to drift until we get scared. When fear comes then we finally go seek God in prayer. It shouldn’t be that way but it does seem to work that way.

Let’s make prayer a discipline so that in time of need praying is not something strange to us!
