I Samuel 2:12 Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the Lord.
This is a terrible verse. Here are the sons of a man of God. They have been raised in the home of the leading man of God of their time yet they have not believed. They have seen the things of God. They have heard the truth. They have seen God work and yet they have not believed.
They didn’t know the Lord. You can be in the most spiritual home on the planet and not know the Lord. You must make your own decision. You must realize your need. Your parents love for God doesn’t transfer to you unless you believe also.
They were sons of Belial, the devil. God help us be careful to share your Word with our children. Help us to not let up on the praying that you will save them.
God wake up your people to this great need.
