Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
They realized that these men had been with Jesus. They knew that in and of themselves they would never have had that boldness, that knowledge, that ability. They surprised the religious leaders. They could see the hand of Jesus on them. They could tell that they had learned, grown, and matured. Jesus’ training was obvious in their lives.
Now when we think of our ministry we must consider who has the marks of our training? Are we training people? Are we teaching them to do the ministry?
Are we living in such a way that our lives and our testimony can teach them? Jesus left disciples but He told us to do the same. We are to be training faithful men and women.
Who are you discipling? Who are you training?
