Proverbs 23:32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, And stingeth like an adder.
This verse is in a discussion of what alcohol can do to you. I love the phrase, at the last. It is saying look to where it can take you and not where you start. Today many want to speak about the innocence of alcohol. They want to take about how it is ok. In this verse that is not the discussion. It is not how it starts but how it finishes.
The same phrase works with porn or a thousand other things. Maybe it seems ok at the beginning but before you start why don’t you consider where it ends up! Though some might never get in trouble many do. Are you willing to take that chance?
