1 Chronicles 29:2 Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
Under inspiration of the Holy Spirit in the Holy Scriptures David says that he has prepared with all his might for the house of his God. I wonder what we have put so much desire and energy into with our lives.
As I seek to evangelize the world in my generation can I honestly say that I am preparing or serving with all my might? What a challenge when I think of what he must have thought about at night or in the early mornings. What a life as he got his daily briefings on what was being done with his investments, his workers towards reaching his goal of doing something great for his God.
This verse calls me to evaluate my life, my giving, my work habits and ethic to see if I truly am serving my God and his purposes with all my might.
