I Chronicles 28:20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
David gives Solomon a promise. He says that God will not fail him nor forsake him until he has finished the work for the service of the house of God. This is not a promise for us but I do believe it is a principle that can be applied to my life and ministry.
As long as I am doing the work that God has for me He will not fail me nor forsake me. It is a comfort to know that I am doing what He wants me to do and that I am following a Biblical pattern for my life and ministry. Let’s finish the work that He has given us to do.
