I Kings 20:11 And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that girdeth on his harness boast himself as he that putteth it off.The king of Israel realizes that starting the fight isn’t the same as finishing the fight. Any boasting should only be done after the battle. How much that speaks to each of us that are in the ministry. If we are just starting we should be careful to speak very humbly knowing that it will only be the grace of God and much hard work that will allow us to finish. There are plenty of starters and dreamers but how many finish what they start. Today I must determine to finish what I start if I know that it was God that told me to do it in the first place.
