Bulletin for the Week of July 13th: VISIONNEWS In the morning service we were blessed to have many first time visitors. Which was especially great this time of year with so many people traveling. We had 180 people in attendance for the morning service with 80% of those people attending an Adult Bible Fellowship or a Sunday School Class before the service. Pastor Gardner preached from Matthew 9. He gave us a clear explanation of how God can take “The Most Sinful to His Service”. It was a great encouragement to look at the life of Levi/Matthew as we begin to think about Levi’s Luau this September. On that Sunday we will do as we learned in this last Sunday message; invite people to join us for a meal and to meet Jesus! I appreciate Beau Carpenter taking the above pictures. It was great to see him on Sunday evening. He brought three young men from Vision Baptist of Cobb County with him for the Student Driven Service. What a blast we had preparing for last night’s service. I cannot begin to express how proud I am of all of our teenagers! What was a novelty last night will be a reality tomorrow! It was not only a great training opportunity for our teenagers but I believe it was a great “preview” to our church about how we are preparing now for the future. One of the most exciting parts about last night was hearing the core values of our church spoken and demonstrated by our teenagers. I strongly believe if you want to know what is really important to a church, pull aside some teenagers and ask them “what is this church all about?” In so many ways last night our teens reminded us what was important to us. From Luke leading in strong, doctrinally sound music to Ben giving an update from China to Angel inviting all the men to the front to pray to Jamie praying for the lost to Justus explaining how we view giving as an investment and not a loss… I could go on and on! Many people are already asking when we will have our next one!
