John 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
What must you see to believe? Thomas doesn’t want to get excited. He doesn’t want to get involved in all these new plans that Jesus has given them until he sees and touches. It seems to me that the church must be waiting for something to see and touch. We do not seem to want to get involved. We seem to give lip service to believing but it hardly seems that we have taken it as seriously as it was given this day.
