Whose business

Luke 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?

Whose business are we about at this time? At the age of twelve Jesus was not thinking of what was best for His family neither for Himself but what His father wanted.

I wonder how often we consider how it will affect our business and our lives before we sell out totally to Him to allow His work to be done.

The Father’s business is to get His plan of salvation and redemption to the entire world. His Son put us in charge of the ministry of reconciliation.

That leaves us but little choice to make His gospel known to the world.
