Romans 16:10 Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus’ household.
Jim Elliot used to say that the only degree that he cared about was the AUG degree. That meant approved unto God. Here you have a verse that says that someone was approved. That means he stood the test. He proved himself. Paul said that in Christ he was approved.
I cannot think of a higher compliment possible.
He was approved by those that knew him and his walk in Christ. That God had somehow placed a seal of approval on him.
Whatever, to get mentioned this way should be the goal of our lives!
