What a privilege

Romans 16:5 Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

I think it must have been wonderful to see your name in the book of Romans like this. The first fruits of Achaia unto Christ would be a tremendous way to be known. He had gotten saved. He was still faithful. I know that those that got saved in our ministry years ago and continue faithful give me great joy.

I can only image the joy Paul felt as he addressed Epaenetus. I can only think of how privileged Paul must have felt to see someone staying so faithful. At the same time it had to be great to be that person, given such great grace.

I think of some dear people in Peru that I was privileged to see God save and how blessed I was to see them faithful after all these years. I know how I feel about the first person saved at Vision.

All I can say is, What a privilege!
