For His Name’s Sake

Psalm 106:8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

Here is an interesting story. God’s people do wrong. They do not deserve for God to deliver them nor to work in their lives yet He does. Why would He do such a thing? It is for His name’s sake. God is at work in this world to make His mighty power known. He wants His name glorified.

In our church He wants to get all the glory. In the preaching He wants to get all the glory. In the living of each one of us He wants to get all the glory.

The good that He allows us to do is not for us but for His name’s sake. Let’s live to make His power known and have His name glorified around the world.
