Exodus 35:30 And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; 31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship; 32 And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, 33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.
God fills and empowers people to do any work that He needs done. When He wants a Tabernacle built He, God, doesn’t sit idly by but rather He prepares men and women who are able and willing to get the job done.
God gave them special abilities. God doesn’t just empower pastors, preachers, and missionaries but the man in the pew who is doing the work that is so vital to His honor and glory. I am encouraged when I read this and think about it.
God will provide the money, the men, the material. God gives the ability and the desire to do the work. There is so much that needs to be done in a local church. We need teachers, workers, people to clean and maintain the building. We need so many to help with sound, video, nursery, literally you name it and there is work to be done.
God has gifted people to do every work. I personally want to see a building spring out of the ground for our future meeting place. God is able and will do something when He is ready. He will touch hearts to give. He will make people have a hunger and desire to give, to work, to prepare the land. It is His church, His building, and he will do it!
That gives great confidence and peace!
