Exodus 26:1 Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.
Over the next couple of chapters God will give detail after detail of how He wants the Tabernacle to be built. It could easily get to be too many details especially when you are reading it!
The verses seem to each start with “Thou shalt make!”
I think that there is a lesson that we can learn here. God is interested in the fine details of our lives. He does care about the small stuff.
That means that what might seem small and inconsequential to you might just be of concern to Him. He cares.
I think it might also suggest that we should be concerned about the building we use to worship Him. It should be cleaned and well taken care of. Little things seem to be much more important when you are reading this.
Those of you that do so much to clean and prepare the building for each service can count on the fact that God is interested in the little things in the church. It should be well careful for, clean, and detail conscious.
Thanks for all you do!
