Exodus 14:31 And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
The Israelites are afraid. They wish that they could go back to Egypt. They feel like it would have been better to die in Egypt. They are looking at Moses and wondering how they allowed Moses to get them into this fix. They are not considering God, how big or real that He is.
God moves in great ways. He defeats their enemies in a great way! They didn’t have to fight. They didn’t have to do anything but watch God work. He did in ways that they never believed He could or would.
The sad thing is that they have been in Egypt just recently. They saw God work great miracles but oh how quickly we forget. We forget what He did the last time we were in trouble the moment new troubles arise.
This should be a lesson to us! God has worked in the past and He will work again. You can trust Him. He is great and He is strong.
Finally after seeing all that God does they are willing to believe. They believe God and they believe Moses. I want God to use me to the point that those in our ministry can know that God really is at work in Vision. I want our people to trust God.
