This morning when I first woke up my first thought was that today was Sunday and going to be the Matthew’s Banquet! I quickly realized it was Monday and that we just had the most wonderful services yesterday. As I was reading my blogs this morning I read our pastor’s thoughts concerning the day. I thought you would enjoy reading his great review of the day.

I am so excited about how God blessed the Matthew’s Banquet. We normally have between 135 and 145 in Sunday School but yesterday we had 174. We have maybe 170 or so in the AM preaching service but God gave us 250 in that service. We had dozens of visitors.
All of you worked so hard. God blessed your efforts. You prayed. You invited. You served and God honored.
Wil Lanum and all the food preparation staff did a great job. Mike Shane did a wonderful job getting things organized. The children’s workers were really used of God to get the gospel to the children. The music, the decorations, and everything else were just wonderful. I am so proud of all of you and all that God did in our church.
Five people made professions of faith in the Spanish church so that made the day a complete success. You worked at getting the gospel to your friends, your coworkers, and the community and that made the day a success. I am blessed to think of all that God did.
The gospel was presented very clearly. People can only have peace in this world when they have peace with God that was provided by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.
I want to thank all of you for your love for the Lord Jesus and your love for people. It is a blessing to be in a church like Vision. I love and appreciate all of you.
