Testing you!

Deuteronomy 13:3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Why would God allow their to be false prophets and false teachers? The reason is to check you out and see if you love Him with all your heart. There will be people who will teach to draw you away from Him.

What are you to do? You are to check the Word of God to make sure what is right. You are to do and believe and practice what He wants. You are not to listen to the new guy with the new dream, vision, or prophecy unless it comes from God.

The way you test the message is to see if He said it!
