Num 20:29 And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.
They mourned this man for 30 days. He had made big mistakes. He had failed in his leadership, but he had been used of God and he had made a difference.
Now he has died. The people mourn him. I always think at funerals about my life, my failures, whether or not my life has counted.
I want to live a life that counts, don’t you?
We really preach our own funerals before we get there. When we read history we can see what happened but often ignore it in our own lives.
What thoughts do you have? What changes could you make to get ready?
