1Timothy 2:3-7 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
Have you ever paid attention to the last verse in this series of verses? Have you notice the declarations that Paul made and then how he ends the paragraph?
Paul states that it is good and acceptable in the sight of God.
God wants all men to be saved.
He wants all men to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for all.
Then Paul ends the passage saying, that is what I was ordained for. That is what I was ordained to preach. God wanted this testified of and He ordained me just for that.
What are you preaching? What were you ordained for?
