Meet the Missionary- Philip Bassham

Philip Bassham will find a way or make a way, but he’ll get the job done. From leading music, to traveling America doing kid’s crusades, Philip has almost always been involved in spreading the gospel .

While in college, Philip was heavily involved in spreading the gospel in America. He worked at a camp during his first summer break and spent his next two summers traveling America doing week long kid’s crusades.

After graduating Bible College with a degree in Bible, Philip traveled to Peru, South America, to study and train under (at that time) missionary Austin Gardner. After six months of study on the foreign field, Philip came back to the USA to help start Vision Baptist Church, and has played a critical role in the music, web design, and building his Sunday school class.

And starting on September 1st, Philip and his wife, Lori, will be starting deputation, raising funds for the country of Thailand.

Philip has already demonstrated he can get the job done in the States, and doubtless will get it done in Thailand. And that’s exactly what we need: missionaries who can get the job done.

There are almost 7 billion people on planet earth today. And almost half of them will never hear the gospel once before they die. Their ignorance is the result of people not taking the great commission seriously, and not getting the job done.

Jesus has sent us to go into all the world, preaching the gospel, and we need to get that job done. We’ve all been given the ministry of reconciliation, and we should have a burden to get that job done. Philip Bassham, missionary to Thailand, has already proved he can get it done.

Philip is one of 11 missionaries who will be at this year’s missions conference. You are not going to want to miss this year’s conference. Make plans to be there now.
