Proverbs 9:7-9 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot. Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
If you reprove the wrong person you will only get embarrassed, hated, and become a marked man.
If you rebuke a wise man he loves you, gets wiser and increases in learning.
The question here is how do you take instruction and correction. Do you get angry and mad? Do you strike back?
The next question is are you learning who to correct as you disciple people. Some people are a waste of time. Did you know that?
