Job 1:22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
Everything that can go wrong has! Life is literally falling apart for Job. He has no idea why.
For that reason this verse means a lot to me.
When things go wrong we tend to blame God. We need someone to blame. We can’t accept that it could sin, Satan, or even our own failures.
We know in this story that it is Satan, but Job doesn’t! And at least one time those that announce Job’s troubles say that it was God. They said that the fire of God had fallen.
Job knew God too well. He did not blame God. He kept his wits about him. He didn’t get into some crazy sadness that just messed him up.
Is there a lesson here for you? Do you blame God for things? Should you sit back and know that your God, the God of Heaven doesn’t operate that way? Should you start trusting Him and looking to Him to work in your life?
