Gen 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Man’s desire is always the same. Let us make us a name. We have to take care of ourselves. If we do not take care of ourselves who will. Self preservation, self exaltation, SELF, is the real problem.
Really there is a choice to make. We either make Him famous or we make ourselves famous. We are either concerned about His name or our name.
From the beginning man has been concerned about His name, but since we have had a new beginning, are new creatures, hopefully we are more concerned about another name, the name of Jesus.
So today we must decide whose name is important. Who must increase and who must decrease is the question.
