No satisfaction

Isaiah 55:2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

How many wasted lives are there? Are you wasting your life? Are you spending money and hard work for things that will not satisfy? There is something of real value but often we are duped into buying, spending, investing, and living for things that have no lasting value.

This world can not offer true happiness. This word system will have you work for material goods that have no lasting value. You will spend and be spent on things that in the end will leave you empty. The illusion is that the house, car, the vacations, the education, will all bring great happiness and satisfaction but when you get it all and you may, you will find that it leaves you empty.

So the advice is that you invest in eternal values, that you seek things that will bring deep satisfaction. True satisfaction is a lot deeper than the superficial, it is spiritual.

Philippians 3:4-7 says that Paul had obtained everything that his culture counted as valuable but he learned that it did not satisfy. He counted all that for lost and sought his relationship with Christ Jesus.

If you want real satisfaction then seek the Lord Jesus and His kingdom. Get into His Word on a daily basis. Don’t miss church services where the Bible is being preached! Learn to walk with God!
