Betty and I are in Arequipa, Peru. I am here teaching and preaching in the Annual Pastor’s School. I am writing this on Friday morning. I have been averaging about 4 hours sleep a night. I am tired and about to begin the last day.
God has blessed greatly. God is encouraging His men and I believe that things will continue on with great power and blessing. Today I have a lunch meeting with the pastors. It will be a great time of fellowship and planning.
I want to thank you for being such a missionary church. Thank you for giving, praying, training, and going.
Today you have the blessing of having Tony Howeth to preach. I consider him one of my greatest friends and greatest preachers. I know that God is going to work.
I want to ask you to get it on your prayer list to pray about our move in October. I want you to be ready. We will have a very short time to get out of one building and into another. We will have just a few days and Lord willing we will be having a Christmas drama. That means that we are going to have to have people really step up.
It will take a lot of work, prayer, money, etc. I hope you will begin praying and inviting your friends. This is a very exciting time in the history of our church. Some day we will look back on these days and remember how we came together as a church and God gave us great victory.
I look forward to being back in the Vision pulpit next Sunday and I am so grateful to you for the opportunity to pastor Vision Baptist Church.
God bless each of you,
Austin and Betty
