Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Ephesians 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Did you know that God is actively at work in our world saving those that do not deserve to be saved. He reaches into a sinful world and saves undeserving sinners. He takes us and transforms our lives by His grace and power.
We should never forget what He has done in our lives and where He has brought us from. He is doing all of this to the praise of His glory.
In the future and throughout all the ages we will be like trophies of His grace. He will show off His exceeding rich grace. He will show how kind He has been to us through Christ Jesus.
Something happens to us after we get saved. We begin to think that somehow we are good people. We think that somehow we deserved to be saved. We fail to look at who we were and what we deserved before He came and saved us.
There would be no showing of His wonderful, rich, exceedingly powerful, love and grace if it weren’t that we were undeserving and needy lost people. Never forget that it is all Him. He did it all. We are saved today because He is good. We didn’t deserve to be saved.
He made us accepted in the Beloved. He forgave our sins. He did the work.
Let us be quick to give Him all the glory and all the praise. Let us never for a minute think that what we are or have is what we did or deserve. It is all Him.
Thank you for saving us. Thank you for what you have done.
We can never be self righteous. We can never be proud or critical. Not when we remember who we were and where we came from.
