I flew out of Atlanta on Tuesday evening and arrived in Santiago, Chile on Wednesday morning at about 7:40 AM. It was actually probably my best flight for sleeping ever.
God has really been good to us here with Jason and Lori Holt. God is greatly using them. We have averaged nearly 200 every night and been in a packed out auditorium. God has seen fit to save at least 2 that I know of this week.
I also preached each morning and taught from 11 am to 1 pm. God has brought some great young people to this church.
It has been a blessing to see the Kenney family and the McBryar family. They are doing well and I look forward to seeing how God will use them.
It is cold. This is winter time and we have been having lows each night of about 24 degrees. I know that isn’t all that bad until you consider that they do not have heat in the house. There is a small electric heater in my room and then some kerosene heaters in other parts of the house. The Holts have just gotten used to the cold. So I just get laughed at for being cold.
Lori has been as always a super good hostess. She has been super kind and has more than met every need. She has fed us and fed us. She is always the kindest in the world to me.
There is still a lot to do. Tomorrow we have a 4 hour meeting with the teachers and workers. Then Sunday there will be two services and Sunday School.
I am excited about what God is doing and hope you will pray for them.
Lord willing, Jason wants to start another church. He needs to raise about $6000 to do so. I hope you will pray for him that God will enable them to start this next church.
