Prayer Request for Jeremy and Bekah Hall

Bekah has just been admitted to the hospital in Arequipa, Peru. They plan to take the twins in about 5 days. They think she has preeclampsia:

Definition
By Mayo Clinic staff
Preeclampsia is a condition of pregnancy marked by high blood pressure and excess protein in your urine after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Preeclampsia often causes only modest increases in blood pressure. Left untreated, however, preeclampsia can lead to serious — even fatal — complications for both you and your baby.

If you have preeclampsia, the only cure is delivery of your baby. If you’re diagnosed with preeclampsia too early in your pregnancy for delivery to be an option, you and your doctor need to allow your baby more time to mature, without putting you or your baby at risk of serious complications.

The babies will be at 33 weeks in 5 days. They have a very good doctor but I know that they would really appreciate your prayers.

One baby is 4.5lbs and the other just under 4 so they are pretty large for twins!

Bekah we love you!

Thanks for the prayers. Quick update: They have finished giving Bekah the shots of steroids to help develop the babies lungs. Everything seems to be fine, her blood pressure is normal and the babies heart rates are normal. They took more blood this morning to test and hopefully by this afternoon we will have more information. Thanks again for all your prayers!
