Faith promise giving is simple. Every individual, and every family prays to seek God’s will concerning the amount of money He will provide through them.
It is NOT the tithe, where we give according to how much God has already given us in the past week.
It is a promise to give what He has not yet given us. This amount is always in direct proportion to our faith – small faith = small offering.
When the amount has been decided upon, a commitment by faith is made to God to pay that amount, trusting God to supply that amount to them above what they already receive. That amount is given knowing that God will always supply that money because it is not for themselves, but for sending out missionaries and reaching the lost all over the world!
Remember, these funds come from the Lord – they will show up most miraculously (one week you may find the money under the cushions of your couch, and the next week in an old coat pocket you were going through before you dropped it off at the second hand store, etc.).
A burdened individual, who is concerned about souls getting the Gospel, will always be on the lookout for how the Lord will supply the extra funds through them – in other words, it probably won’t drop right out of heaven, but will rather be hidden around us, just waiting to be claimed, and given away.
