I am not sure that I understand what the word normal means. My life is always in a turmoil but for now things will settle down for the next several weeks. No more long trips until July. No more being away from home and Vision for a few weeks.
I will be able to get caught up on so much of what is happening in our ministry here and plans for the future. God is working at Vision. We will be moving to a new location in December so I need you to be praying about that. We discussed it in the men’s meeting last night and there will be lots more discussion so let me know if you find anything suitable.
David Gardner will be getting ordained to the Gospel Ministry next Thursday and so that will be a very big day for him and Katie. It will also big a big day for us because our last son will be ordained and leaving for Peru as a full time missionary.
Next Tuesday I will be preaching for a Pastor’s fellowship at Pastor Gary Ledford’s church on reaching the world from Atlanta.
Chris Gardner will be coming in for the ordination and then on to a meeting in Kansas. So that will be an exciting time.
Then we have Master Clubs graduation followed by Youth night and VBS.
So though I will be here there will still be tons going on. Does it ever slow down? I wouldn’t have it any other way. It does slow down at the Nursing Home or Graveyard but as long as I am alive I want to be busy doing something that has eternal value.
My next trip will be to Santiago, Chile to be with Jason Holt so you can put that on your prayer list. That will happen in July.
Now I ask you to pray that God would send us students to prepare for the ministry. We want to start more churches around Atlanta and Georgia. We want to train missionaries to take the gospel to the world.
We are asking God and waiting on Him to do some really great things. Will you pray?
