The 2009 school year has started strong at the Peru Baptist College and we are excited about the twenty new students that have arrived. This a great change for many of them so please pray that they are able to adjust well to the college life. We are praying now for God to work in the lives of these students so we can one day see them on the foreign mission field.
We just ended our winter semester at the Our Generation Training Center but will be starting the summer semester next week. We are now broadcasting Pastor GardnerÃs classes live on Fridays. If you would like to take part in the missions training class, just email me and I will guide you through the steps to get connected.
This month I am traveling all over Georgia, Alabama, and Texas. We do appreciate all the open doors where we have been able to present the ministry. We also hope to be an extra help to young people we meet along the way who may be interested in missions. With so little time, we definitely have to recruit more students for training who God has called to the mission field.
I want to thank the Lord for the two new churches that took on Missionary Ronald Tubillas for support this month. He is only $500 short of his needed support level, I am no longer personally calling to schedule meetings for him, but will be traveling to several meetings with him that have already been scheduled. If you would like to have Ronald Tubillas into your church, please let me know and I will be happy to schedule a meeting.
Our team of missionaries and students are working hard to get ready for this yearÃs Our Generation Camp. As I wrote last month, we changed the age limit of the campers from college age and up to high school age and up. The dates of this yearsà camp are June 15-19. If you know of any young person that is interested in missions they need to be at this camp. It will be a great chance for them to experience the mission field without every leaving the States. Missionaries from Africa, South America, and Asia will be here to assist the students as they learn and work in cross cultural outreaches. The information that will be taught is priceless for those considering the missionary life.
Our tickets are set for the two Peru Trips I have the opportunity of leading this summer. Pray that all goes well from here and back to Peru. We are also already planning our fall trip now. They dates are October 5-12, 2009. If you would be interested in being a part of this missions trip to Peru, please let me know.
I want to thank all the people that have been praying for me and my family. Without prayer I donÃt know how we would make it. Thank you also for the financial support. We are still in the process of raising support so if you would be interested in being a partner in our ministry, we would be privileged. Here to serve.
