Vision Baptist is a missions, world evangelism, church! Sunday was the anniversary of the death of Adoniram Judson. God used this man to stir the American Continent to get involved in world evangelism. He had a promising career in front of him here in the states. The Holy Spirit had so grabbed his heart and attention that he could do not less than give his entire life to reach Burma with the gospel.
What a hero! God may be calling you right now to do the same. There is no greater thing that you could do on this earth. Why don’t you at least search out the possibilities of how God might want to use your life?
Adoniram Judson’s name will always have a place in the very first rank of American missionaries to heathen lands. He belongs to the first band of those missionaries, and his heroism, wise judgment, and diligent labor have not been excelled if equaled by any who have followed him. Written by D. S. Schaff.
