He feels pleasure in the prosperity of His servant

Psalm 35:26-28 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me. Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

I think this verse is very important! David asks God in prayer to cause them to be ashamed and brought to confusion that were desiring to see him hurt. What a thought. He believed that God so loved him and desired his success and blessing that he could ask God to cause his enemies to be ashamed and experience confusion.

Let’s pray this same thing today. He wanted them to be clothed with shame and dishonor because they tried to lift themselves up again. Did you know that God is looking out for you and you can go to Him in prayer and ask for His blessing and protection.

David wanted those that loved him to see that God was blessing him and to be happy. He wanted God to be magnified by the way God was using Him and blessing Him.

David said that he wouldn’t take the credit for what God did but would allow his tontgue to continually praise God and give Him the credit for all that He did.

Now here it comes. We are not into the prosperity gospel. We are however fully aware that God loves and takes care of His people. Call on Him today and trust Him. Look to see Him to great things with you.

I am praying the verses that you read for myself today. I challenge you tdo do the same. God has a great and perfect will for your life. Get in it. And Enjoy it.
