More Americans Say They Have No Religion

In a recent article on Fox News that I am referencing here we find some very interesting statistics.

Fifteen percent of respondents said they had no religion, an increase from 14.2 percent in 2001 and 8.2 percent in 1990, according to the American Religious Identification Survey.

Bible preaching and Bible living have lost their place even in the lives of truly born again Christians. Many have not lived it and the lost world can see that. It makes them not interested in a cheap Christianity. I pray to God that Vision can continue to be a place that reaches out to people with the truth and the gospel message.

The least religious state in the USA is Vermont where 34% claim no religion.

Could this be a call for our church to pray that God would raise up someone to go to Vermont and start a church. They need to see real Christianity in action.

Christians who aren’t Catholic also are a declining segment of the country.

Religion continues but true Bible believing and practicing Christianity is on the decline. We must be about our Father’s business.
