God was very good to us today. I was able to teach and preach for 4 hours this morning to about 12 people that came to learn about BE.DO.SERVE.TRAIN. We had a wonderful time in the Word of God. Then we ate lunch with the young men from the Bible college and a couple of others. There we talked about the Bible, reaching the area, dreaming of what God might have for them, etc. We spent about 2 hours in good, deep, conversation. Then we went to church and I preached the evening service about the Doctrine of the Church. They will soon organize their church. I had a great time. We spent the rest of the day making plans and working on details of the ministry here. Some interesting things that I learned today. Many families on a normal level will go an entire month and eat no meat at all. Most of the people that go to the church would get one meal a day and have something in the evening only if there was some lunch left over. They have literally nothing here. It is the poorest country I have ever been to. Peru is a rich country. I lived there for 18 years and thought there was poverty there. Many people have scars on their faces here. I asked why and it is a tribal thing for many. They cut them to know which tribe they are from. There is a great need for workers here. I hope you will pray about the possibility of God using you to help reach these people with the gospel. My heart goes out to them. I would love to be a missionary here. Will you pray about coming?
