Leviticus 10:10 Â And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean
I think this is one of the truths that most disturb so many people! I think it is a far statement that most people would like to think that the difference between clean and unclean, right and wrong is more based on their opinion than some absolute. God is the absolute. He makes the decision.
If I could choose what was right and wrong, clean or unclean then I would never be a sinner because it would be based on my criteria. I would feel pretty good about myself.
Many people work at doing just that! They try to get you to think that sin is when you think poorly of yourself or some other nonsense.Â
God wrote a lot of Bible that many consider boring or not relevant to teach us that He determines whatever! It is His choice whether it is to be considered clean or unclean.
Many don’t like a church where they are told things that do not fit their criteria. New churches spring up that want to say you can do and be who or whatever you want to be. That salvation is becoming more human!
People want a church that affirms their lifestyle and behavior. Few want to go and sit at the feet of God and His word and ask Him what is right or wrong.
Don’t you see that there is something bad wrong with this idea. You are not the authority. You are not the Creator or the Judge of all the earth. You are to come before His presence humbly to ask-What pleases Him?
Today I challenge you to realize that you are responsible to listen to God through His Word. I challenge you to allow His Holy Spirit to show you your condition.
There would have been no need for salvation if there were no sin. There would be no need for Jesus to die in your place if you could determine that you were ok. Many will not be saved, forgiven, born again because they will not realize first that they sinned.
I challenge you to humble yourself and come before His presence to learn from Him what pleases Him and what displeases Him. Â I challenge you to get in a church where the pastor will teach and preach clearly what the Bible says without fear or favor.
I challenge you to respond correctly to the Word of God.
