What will you tell your children and grandchildren?

Exodus 10:2 And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.

This verse occurs right in the middle of all the plagues that God is sending over the nation of Egypt. Pharaoh is rebelling, God’s people are seeing God’s hand and God is going to get the victory!

Then here comes a verse that just jumps off of the page. God is allowing them to see HIM! They are seeing things that are supernatural, super special, the hand of God, the moving of God in and around their lives.

He says-I am giving you something to tell your kids about. You will have stories of my greatness to share with others. You have a great God, the only God but I am giving you something priceless.

You will have stories of greatness to share with your children and grandchildren. What a privilege to tell them-I was there, I saw it, I participated first hand! God is so good.

Now comes the question and application to our lives. What is God doing in our lives? What have we seen God do? Have we been where He is working?

If not what part of this is our fault because of our remoteness to Him and the church and what He is doing? How much is our spiritual coldness?

What will you be able to tell your children about what God has done? If He is not doing anything in your life today just remember you will have no stories to tell tomorrow.

I want something to tell when I am old. I am not satisfied to tell the stories of what God has done in other people’s lives. I want my own testimonies.

What do you need to do to get back to where God can work in your life?

Are you willing to pay the price to be where God can and will work in and around you?
