We had a great opportunity to go caroling at the Cumming Nursing Center on Saturday. About nine of us came up from Vision Baptist Church, and after rounding up some of the residents, we sang carols with them for about an hour. Scott Newton and Karlo Paver took turns playing the guitar, and Bro. Jonathan Clapp brought bells to really give our songs that Christmasy sound. After caroling, Bro. Clapp read the Christmas story to remind us all of the true reason Christ was born–to die for sinful man. All in all, it was a great visit, and we’re so thankful for the chance to minister and be an encouragement to the residents of the Cumming Nursing Center.
