Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,

It seems that every new month brings with it a new set of opportunities and challenges. God is so faithful to bless us and strengthen us as we serve Him here in Northern Ireland.

One of the requests that we asked prayer for in our last letter was concerning a major ministry opportunity, which was the possibility of our working in another church as well as the one in which we are currently involved in Londonderry. As of Sunday, October 12, I have taken over the pastorate of Roe Valley Baptist Church in Limavady, which was started 7 years ago by Missionary Ronnie Smith with Macedonia World Baptist Missions. The church has some very good families in it, who have a desire to move forward, so we are excited about working with them to reach their community as well as praying for God to raise up a local man who can pastor this church.

We will continue establishing Northwest Baptist Church at the same time, so we will be extra busy with both churches. On Sunday, I will preach twice in Limavady, twice in Derry, and then teach a Bible class in Derry as well. The two churches are about 18 miles apart, which takes us about 30 minutes to drive.

On Sunday, September 14, we celebrated our one-year anniversary at Northwest Baptist Church since we officially started the church. It was encouraging to see so many of the folks who were with us a year ago still coming and serving as well as some new people in attendance.

Since July 2007, the church in Derry has knocked on or given invitations to over 20,000 homes. We are hoping to finish with all 33,000 homes in our the city by the end of the year, so please pray for us.

Please continue to pray for souls to be saved, young people to have a desire to serve God, our Harvest Party outreach on October 31, our missions conference the end of November, and wisdom and strength to serve the Lord.

Thank you so much. May God bless you for your support and prayers.

Yours for world evangelism,

Travis, Teri, Grant, and Darci Snode
