I am here in Londonderry, Northern Ireland with Travis and Teri Snode. They are missionaries sent out of our church. They are a super wonderful family and it has been a blessing for me to be with them. They are the most kind and thoughtful people that you have ever met.
Teri has literally attended to my every need and been so kind. I am sort of on a diet trying to get down to 199 which I have seen in probably 20 plus years and she has done everything possible to help me by providing just the right food. Today they had pizza at the youth meeting and she brought me chicken wings. I know it doesn’t mean much to you but it really did to me. Thank you, Teri, for being so kind and considerate.
I have been preaching and teaching since I got here. On Wednesday only one time, then on Thursday and Friday we had a class in the morning for 2 1/2 hours and then preached at night, then today we gave out invitations then preached two times. Tomorrow I am on for 3 more times then I will fly home on Monday.
They are doing a great work and I am very happy for them. They stepped out by faith last year and began renting a meeting room in a hotel. It has been costly but God has blessed. They have several good people that seem to really want to see a miracle happen. I hope you will pray with them.
Tomorrow evening we will be organizing their church. They will be our first daughter church anywhere in the world. That is an honor to us that we should never forget. Thank you Snode family for making that happen.
If you get this in time please be praying for them and that God will greatly bless. They are your missionaries and not just some we support but sent out of our church and that is a great honor, blessing, and responsibility.
I will miss you tomorrow but I will be praying for you. I love all of you at Vision Baptist Church and count it a real honor and privilege to serve our great God with you.
