Tonight McHoyt Moore will preach at Vision Baptist Church. He was the pastor of Old Suwanee Baptist Church and the founder of Old Suwanee Christian Schools. He pastored there for over 41 years. He has been my friend for well over 20 years now. He has a great testimony and has been greatly used of the Lord.
I want to always honor the men that have been so faithful to God over the years. They are my heroes. I want a testimony some day of having been faithful to our God and His calling all of my life.
I love this verse which talks about it being real to you that getting started is not the issue but how you finish up:
1Kings 20:11 And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that girdeth on his harness boast himself as he that putteth it off.
Don’t brag because you put the armor on but when you have finished the battle and take it off.
