I hope that you will go out and vote tomorrow! One of the greatest privileges that we have as American citizens is the vote. In Peru, where Betty and I used to live, you are required to vote. It is not optional. Here the vote is optional and so many take the easy way out and ignore one of their responsibilities.
I love voting. I love knowing that though my participation maybe very small I get my chance to vote for the future I want here in my city, county, state, and country.
I hope that you will go out and vote tomorrow. Be responsible. Study the issues. Be sure to vote for what is right. Be sure to vote after you study and not just for a good commercial or party line.
I love this country and I am excited about the chance to participate in our government–voting!
