I had the privilege after church this morning to meet with our teens and to challenge them to serve God and to get involved in reading their Bibles. I am very proud of Trent and the work that he is doing to help challenge our teens to serve God. It was interesting to see the young people stepping up to be accountable to each other to read their Bibles and take notes from their readings.
I am glad that you have your children involved with the Students of Vision. I know that God is working through Trent and Stephanie.
Talking about Bible reading I want to challenge you to go to the Bible Reading Revolution blog and read the 5 steps that John has set up to help you jump start your Bible reading. I believe that Bible reading is one of the most important things in the life of a Christian.
I am excited to see what God is doing in the lives of those that are interested in reading their Bibles. God bless you as you walk with Him.

Great post! I found your blog on Technorati and added you as a favorite. I teach a teen boys Sunday School class and we also talked about Bible reading today. I’m thinking of having them keep a journal of their daily reading and on Sunday we can all share what we read and what we got out of our time with the Lord. It would be great for accountability. Thanks for what you are doing brother! I’m adding a link to your blog on mine!
